If you missed the amazing Rooftop and Newfest screenings of the “Codependent Lesbian Space Alien Seeks Same”– which premiered at Sundance!– now is your chance to catch the film in NYC. That’s right, it’s gone highbrow. The film will be screening as part of its nomination for the Gotham Independent Film Awards! Details are below:
Gotham Independent Film Awards™ PUBLIC FILM SERIES, nominated The Best Film Not Playing at a Theater Near You®, will take place at The Museum of Modern Art.
Saturday, November 19 at 6:00 pm: Codependent Lesbian Space Alien Seeks Same @ The Celeste Bartos Theater (T3) AND Monday, November 21 at 8:15 pm: Codependent Lesbian Space Alien Seeks Same @ The Roy & Niuta Titus Theater 2 (T2)
~ And, the admission is economy conscious! $12 for adults, $8 for students with ID, $10 for seniors, museum members are free, $5 for guests of museum members and folks 16 years old and under are FREE!
Directions:
11 West 53rd Street, Film Lobby entrance for T2; you may also use the 4 West 54th Street entrance for T3.
From the east side of Manhattan: 6 train to 51st Street, transfer to the E or M train; one stop to 53rd Street and Fifth Avenue.
From the west side of Manhattan: E or M train to 53rd Street and Fifth Avenue, or B, D, or F train to 47-50 Street Rockefeller Center.
There is a Q&A with the director Madeleine Olnek right after the film and every one is invited to join the cast and crew to celebrate at a nearby restaurant nearby. (Location T.B.A. at the screening.)
